Amazon Summer Favorites

Despite the circumstances, nothing should stop you from still enjoying your summer - even if only in your backyard! COVID needn’t [completely] cramp your style…while the weather is still treating us well, I’m breaking out my favorite finds on Amazon and sharing them with you.

Happy shopping!

Style

This first outfit features one of my favorite dresses I own - buy one in all the colors you wear often! With the off-shoulder neckline and symmetrical slits at the hem, this dress is comfy, breathable, and great for warmer days (or nights). (PS - This hat is Urban Outfitters, but I’ve linked a similar one here; as for the heeled sandals, I have owned these Dolce Vitas for three years and they are so comfort I could weep.)

For my toes, they’re always red for summer! ;) Sally Hansen comes through for me big time in Rockstar Red and Babe Blue, my two favorite colors from her.

This outfit’s headliner, firstly, is this white bodysuit: it’s been an absolute must in my wardrobe. It’s comfortable for both fabric and fit, the wide scoop neck flatters the collarbone, and for a slim fit, it slips on relatively easily. It also pairs with everyyyyything…bite the bullet and add him in three different colors to your closet.

Secondly, I found my favorite Hudson jeans - the high-waisted skinny Barbaras - for a lower price on Amazon. Hoo-rah.

For those cooler summer nights, the long-sleeved bodysuit is your best friend; the two words here are yaaaaaasz bish. I bought the maroon one first and enjoyed it so much I went back and bought another one in white. (You know what to do…)

This. bikini. is. my. new. favorite. The cutout creates a body shape that’s smoking hot in all colors! One of my girlfriends looked smoldering in navy blue on our girls’ lake trip, and I went online and ordered one in red (ow owww). The bandage wrapping accentuates curves beautifully, and for smaller-chested gals (or just anyone looking to go va va voom on the fit), I tested it with push-up stickie cups underneath. Turns out they go together like peanut butter and fluff. :)

Beauty

These are my holy grail products I use every day (except the shampoo, which is closer to twice a week). The value for quality is second to none, and the option to buy in bulk reduces packaging waste and is a bit more cost efficient.

Brew

Finally, for all my iced coffee fanatics…

  1. A jar/filter for brewing cold brew. I’ve started making my own at home this summer and I must say, few things make me feel more accomplished and self-sufficient. Just add water (and grounds).

  2. Lavender leaves. Because you’re obviously going to make a lavender-honey syrup for your coffee and tea and English muffins and everything else. Recipe here.

  3. Oatly 3-Pack. To add dat creamy cream without the extra sugar (or dairy, or GMO, or gluten).

  4. Hydra flask. Because it’s hard enough to remember to hydrate without one.

That wraps up my Amazon summer favorites! What are yours? Leave your recommendations in the comment section below.

Products and pieces I’m on the hunt for: at home self-tanner, budget friendly perfume, a romper, high-waist shorts, and nude lipsticks.

XO,

Tay
