Staying in Touch with Holiday Cards

I stay busy and commit to doing several things that have me all over the place - trips, weddings, friend visits, family reunions, shoots for the blog, content hunting for Exhibit A, retreats, more trips if there’s a city I haven’t seen yet and want to…half the time people I’m close with but who live far away don’t even know where I live because they think I’ve moved again! Nope, I haven’t - just hopping out of town again, doing what I love doing.

How I Edit My Photos

Until recently I knew almost nothing about photo editing. To be honest, it’s always had a bit of a negative connotation: doctoring photos or uttering the word “Photoshop” was typically said in distaste, with a wrinkled nose. The string of news stories smearing brands and businesses for their overly-zealous Photoshopping faux pas further taint the whole pursuit as sleazy, even immoral.

The Gift of Whimsy

The day I wrote this blog post was not the best. I’d slept in, showed up flustered and late to work, and one thing after another seemed to be going wrong or something I did wrong. Thoughts for a Snow Day

In the beginning of winter, I’m always excited for the first snow. I’ve had enough gradual transition to remember my gloves/hat/scarf trifecta, and as soon as it starts ya girl is the first one to pop into the street and feel those first few dainty flakes on my nose.
