Since Jake and I got engaged, we’ve been so blessed to have friends surround us in sweet celebration. Already, they’ve been a massive help, from all the moments leading up to Jake proposing to all our wedding preparation that’s followed. Jake’s brother took our first pictures as fiancés, my sister decorated the house to surprise us when we returned to celebrate with our families, one of my girlfriends helped Jake begin design for my engagement ring, and another has offered to help plan the bachelorette party. 

And, last week, we had friends help shoot our engagement pictures, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how they came out. Because Jake and I spent so much of our early dating relationship in coffee shops, we picked Emissary for our daytime shoot.
